Villagers Theatre allows third party production companies or other organizations to rent our theater space – this includes the Main Stage (222 seats) and Zaidi Black Box (approximately 100 seats depending on configuration) and/or our Lobby. Those renting our space must have insurance coverage in place, naming Villagers as an insured, as per this Villagers Theatre Insurance Template
Although our Stage Rental Venues aren’t considered a Villagers Program, the ability to rent and the purpose is listed here, to help our patrons understand why stage rental productions are handled differently than Villagers seasonal shows.
With our Stage Rental Venus, independent producers fund and orchestrate their complete productions. Thus their writers, directors and performers take creative control of their productions to a far greater extent than a more traditional setting might allow. This format provides maximum freedom and flexibility in both content and scheduling.
Since Stage Rental Venues are independent productions, they will not be billed as part of our regular season, but Villagers may agree to send your promotional material via our controlled mailing list, for additional fees.
